Organizer Conference Controls at a Glance

Using Organizer Conference Controls can improve your overall conferencing experience by providing added security, reducing background noise, and helping to control the cost of a Web-Scheduled Premium 800 conference.  We have detailed descriptions and the special considerations for each control below.

Always remember to keep the following things in mind when using Organizer Conference Controls:

  • To use these controls while on a conference, you must enter the Organizer Access Code when joining the conference.
  • The Organizer Access Code always begins with a star key (*), and this leading star key is part of the code.
  • If you are using one of our Web-Scheduled services the Organizer Access Code is assigned by our computer. If you are using our Reservationless service the Organizer Access Code is the star key (*) followed by the digits of the Participant Access Code.
  • Controls set while scheduling a Web-Scheduled conference cannot be changed before the conference, but can be changed during the conference itself.  Exception:  'Conference Starts When Organizer Arrives' and 'Conference Ends when Organizer Leaves' can only be set during the scheduling process.
