iotum’s Fourth Acquisition in Two Years
New York, NY – September 30, 2015 – iotum, a leader in teleconference and group calling solutions, announced further expansion today with the acquisition of FreeConferencePro, a Connecticut-based provider of innovative and free audio conferencing services. With this latest acquisition, iotum continues to add voice-conferencing-services providers and customers to its robust group-calling platform.
FreeConferencePro marks the fourth acquisition in the past two years for iotum, which owns several market-leading collaboration and teleconferencing products, including FreeConference.com. iotum previously acquired the business and assets of Global Conference Partners, Rondee and Gaboogie.

FreeConference.com recently added free, no-download video conferencing and free no-download screen sharing. FreeConference.com originated the free unlimited dial-in conferencing model and is the first to combine free no-download video with free unlimited dial-in.
FreeConferencePro is a completely automated and secure system that allows customers to sign up and immediately receive a Conference Access Number and a personal Passcode.
Martin explained that in addition to iotum's organic growth in customers, the company is aggressively pursuing acquisitions such as this one to boost the company's user base and provide customers with best-in-class audio and video conferencing solutions. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
